On Caravan

Traveling to places known and unknown

Without wings of desire I have flown

Time was difficult, the Almighty only support,

In dreams too,I imagined never treading such road.

Young I was, numerous duties on shoulder ,

Reasons escaped ,logic failed I hit a

boulder.

Weak were steps , will of wisdom did purport,

Children’s Education geared my soul in support.

One by one,My feet rushed in a different direction

Heart beat  in  line of completing the  tasked section .

Years have passed, yet life has never relaxed

Travels in Caravan  with frequent luggage packed.

A soul satisfied, with responsibility beautifully borne,

A store stiched with learnt lessons in sojourn.

Tired is body, mind no more ready for more stress

The Caravan is worn out no more journey to press.

O lord, pick me up now ,in your tender arms,

Life seems barren, all vigour lost, nothing charms.
